1. Sringeri Mutt or Sringeri Sharada Peetham is the first stop of most pilgrimage tourists to Sringeri, Karnataka. This place is the very first of the 4 original Hindu Advaita Mutts which were said to have been set up by Adi Shankaracharya. The central shrine of Sri Adi Shankara is in a quadrangle of the Mutt.

2. Chenna Keshab Temple Sringeri: Built over a period of time, this temple's architecture is elegant, particularly that of the outside walls.

3. Sharadamba Temple Sringeri: This temple is the most popular religious tourist sites of Sringeri, Karnataka. Built and designed in the traditional Dravidian architectural style, the temple is dedicated to Goddess Sharada, the Goddess of learning and wisdom.

4. Vidyasankara Temple Sringeri: A unique aspect of this temple is the sculptures in the wall niches – these are not only sculptures which depict characters from Hindu mythology, but also from Jain & Budhist mythologies. The Rashistambhas (zodiacal pillars) also attract a lot of tourists.

5. Narasimha Vana Sringeri: This is where the present Jagadguru of Dakshina( southern) Shankaracharya Mutt H.H Bharathi teertha Swamigalu lives.

6. Rushyasringeshwara Temple Sringeri: This is not located in the main town of Sringeri, but about 8-9kms away, in the village of Kigga. You can reach Kigga via bus from Sringeri, from where the bus departs regularly on an hourly basis.

7. Malahanikareswara Temple Sringeri: This temple is located in the centere of the Sringeri town, and is reached by climbing 150 steps to the peak of the hill on which it stands.
