Digital cameras and computers play an important role in making pictures beautiful to visualize than what is originally taken. The course is aimed at beginners. This course is divided into two categories theoretical and practical to provide professional guidance to achieve the subjective and creative field of photography. About Shilpa Academy,Mysore, Karnataka:-
Shilpa Academy was established in 1979 by its director Dr.Mysooru Nagaraja Sharma, an artist and archaeologist from Mysore. He has trained more than 1000 students. This academy has a formula of manogata (understanding) and karagata (practice) as its teaching principals.

Duration of the Photography course : 12 classes on regular days. Sunday is a holiday. Total 24hours split into two hours per day.
Timings of the Photography Course: 6 pm to 8 pm in the evenings.
Fees for the Photography Course: Rs. 5000/- for the entire 12 days course. This fee should be paid at the time of admission along with application form duly filled. No extra fees will be charged for practical guidance except prior appointment to be fixed.
