Nanda Devi Temple: The Nanda Devi temple is related with Goddess Nanda and Sunanda, built in 1000 years ago. The temple was built with the Kumaoni style and famous for its wall picture. This temple is made by stone. A fair was held in every year in Nanda Devi temple in the month of August. It is 127kms from Patnagar and 91kms from Almora.

Naithna Devi: Naithna Devi is the famous temple of Maa Durga. IT is 34kms from 34 km from Bhikiyasen and 54kms from Ranikhet. A fair was held in every year in this temple name Somnath fair. It is held in the month of May-June.

Katarmal Sun temple in Almora: Katarmal Sun temple is the famous temple of Almora and located in the altitude of 2116 meters. The temple is related with sun built in 9th century by Kattarmala.

Chitai Temple: Chitai temple is the most popular temple of Almora related with Lord Golu Devta. It is 8kms from Almora. A thousand of bells you cans see in this temple.

Ranikhet: Ranikhet is the most popular place of Almora district situated in the height of 1800 meters from sea level. Ranikhet hills are covered by the forest of oak and pine. It is an enjoyable place for tourism. The main shopping area of Ranikhet is Sadar Bajar. Here you find a large number of shops, restaurants and hotels. Sitlakhet, Chaubatia, Upat, Tarikhet, Dwarahat and Manila are the famous tourist place of Ranikhet. Jhoola Devi temple and Nanda Devi temple is the famous temple of Ranikhet.

Almora district is situated in the height of 1638 meters from sea level and famous for its picturesque location. The best time to visit in Almora is from May-June and from September-November because in these days the environmental condition of Almora district is very pleasant.
