Formation of State: Uttarakhand became a state of India in 9th November 2000. Uttarakhand is the 27th state of the India. This state felt in the area of 51,125 sq. km (17.3 percent part of India).

Latitude: 28 degree 53' 24" N to 31 degree 27' 50" N.
