2011 Cricket Coaching Summer Camps in Bengaluru

You must have heard the oft-repeated phrase "In India cricket is a religion and Sachin is God". Well, there's no doubt about it! Cricket is the most popular sport in the country. What's more, it also happens to be the richest sport, with the national team players earning in lakhs and crores both for playing for the country and for endorsing products & services. The IPL tournament has become a cash-cow in its own unique way. No wonder, then, that there are plenty of parents who hope their children will get the right training to one day enter the hallowed league of top-earning cricketers!

That is why there are so many cricket coaching camps mushrooming all over the country. The city of Bengaluru, too, has its own numerous camps and the forthcoming 2011 summer cricket camps will have plenty of takers for sure.

This camp is one of the most popular annual cricket summer camps. Both boys and girls can enroll for the camp. Those who enroll for the KIOC summer camp will be considered for selection to play in the All India inter-cam tournament from May 21st to May 31st 2011. The Director and Chief Coach of the camp is Irfan Sait,
Dates of KIOC Summer Camp 2011: It is likely to begin on April 3rd 2011 and end on May 20th 2011.

2. JP Nagar Cricket Academy 2011 Summer Camp Bangalore
The J P Nagar Cricket Academy (JPNCA) is an academy which provides training in cricket and table tennis. In addition, it conducts training in karate and yoga too. The Academy's Director is Mr.Srinivas.

The J P Nagar Cricket Academy conducts cricket coaching sessions throughout the year and also has annual summer camps.

3. Vishwanath Cricket Academy 2011 Summer Camp Bangalore
The Vishwanath Cricket Academy was set up by Indian ex-cricketer Sadanand Vishwanath. He played for India as a wicket keeper and batsman. Every year, the academy conducts a summer cricket camp for both boys and girls. There is a restriction on the age, so please confirm beforehand (generally the age group is 7 to 16 years)

Dates of Sadanand Vishwanath Cricket Academy 2011 summer camp: As yet the dates of the camp have not been officially announced, but it is generally at March-end and continues till mid-May.

4. St. Joseph's Boys High School Summer Camp 2011 Bangalore
The St. Joseph's Boys High School is located at Richmond Town, Bangalore and has a good large ground for conducting cricket coaching and matches. Every year it holds summer coaching camps for youngsters on this ground on the school campus. The camp is generally for youngsters in the age group of 9 to 17 years.

Brijesh Patel is an ex-cricketer who played for the national team. Although he did not have a very impressive cricketing record, his academy is quite popular and attracts plenty of youngsters who wish to be coached in cricketing skills. Besides cricket coaching sessions during the year, the academy has a separate summer camp once the school term ends.
