Method to Make Masala Bhat

MASALA BHAT


Ingredients for MASALA BHAT:-
2 cup Long Grain Rice
2 medium onions chopped
5-7 garlic pods
3 tsp dhania powder
3 tsp jeera powder
¾ cup Cilantro leaves chopped
5-7 kali mirch
5-7 Lal mirch dry
10-12 Cashew Nuts
2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp rai (Sarson) crushed
1 tsp Jaggery (gur)
¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
3 tsp Oil, Salt to taste


Method:
Wash Rice Heat 3 tsp oil in a pan. Add dhania, jeera, Cilantro leaves, rai Seeds, kali mirch, Lal mirch, rai, onion, garlic, Turmeric Powder, and Rice, roast for 5-6 minutes. Boil 3 cups of water in other pan, once rice sautéed, add 3 cups of boiling water. after the rice starts boiling. Add red chili powder, Cashews, salt, Jaggery. Stir well, cover the pan let Rice cook on medium heat.

Serves- 4 persons
