2010-2011 Maharashtra Police Recruitments for Police Launches Eligibility Qualifications Experience Requirements


A. Asst. Police Sub-Inspector, Sarang Jobs in Maharashtra Police
No. of posts: 63

Age: not less than 25years and not more than 35years (upper age may be relaxed by 5 yrs. for candidates already in Govt. service). In respect of backward candidates, maximum age limit will be relaxed as per the Govt. policy.

Educational Qualifications: Candidate must have passed HSC exam.

Experience: Candidate must have minimum 2 years experience as Sarang of mechanically propelled vessel of pwer 40-226 BHP & possess the necessary certificate of competency as Sarang as per the Inland Vessels Act.
OR
Ex-serviceman from Indian Navy who has worked as a Seaman Petty Officer with at least 2 years experience on that post
OR
Ex-serviceman from Coast Guard who has worked as a Pradhan Naik with at least 2 years experience on that post.

Physical Qualifications:
(1) Height: Male candidate shall not be less than 165cms; Female candidate shall not be less than 155cms.
(2) Chest: Male candidate shall not be less than 79cms deflated & the difference between deflated chst and expanded chest shall not be less than 5cms.; Femal candidate – not applicable.
- There will be relaxation for candidates belonging to ST, children of police informants, police Patils and Policemen killed or seriously injued in Naxalites attacks or operations.

Selection Procedure: Physical test (100 marks) and Written Test (75 marks). Physical tests will include various athletic events, such as running, long jump, shot put, pull-ups, etc. These tests will be followed by an interview (25 marks) for candidates securing a minimum of 50% marks in the written test.

B. Assistant Police Sub-Inspector, Engine Driver Jobs in Maharashtra Police

Educational Qualifications: Candidate must have passed HSC exam and successfully completed the ITI Motor Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic or Electric or Electronic or Fitter or Machinist course.

Experience: Candidate must possess at least minimum 2 years experience as second class engine driver of mechanically propelled vessel of power 40-226 BHP, and possess the necessary certificate of competency as Second Class Engine Drivers as per the Inland Vessels Act.
OR
Ex-Serviceman from the Indian Navy who has worked as a Petty Officer Mechanic Engineer with at least 2 years experience on that post
OR
Ex-Serviceman from the Coast Guard who has worked as a Pradhan Naik (ME) with at least 2 years experience on that post.

C. Police Head Constable Dingi Driver (Deck side) or Police Head Constable Khalashi (Deck side) Jobs in Maharashtra Police

Experience: Candidate must possess at least 2 years experience as Sarang on a vessel having power up to 40 BHP and possess the certificate of competency as Sarang as per the Inland Vessels Act.

E. Police Constable Khalashi (Deck side) Jobs in Maharashtra Police

Educational Qualifications: Candidate must have passed SSC exam. Preference will be given to those candidates who have successfully completed 6 months general purpose rating course as approved by the Director General of Shipping, Govt. of India

F. Police Constable Khalashi (Engine side) Jobs in Maharashtra Police

Age: Candidate should be not less than 18 years and not more than 25 years of age. Maximum age limit in respect of backward class candidates shall be relaxed as per the Govt. policy.

Educational Qualifications: Candidate must have passed SSC exam. Preference will be given to those candidates who have successfully completed ITI Motor Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic or Electrical or Electronics or Fitter of Machinist trade + preference for those who have successfully completed completed 6 months general purpose rating course as approved by the Director General of Shipping, Govt. of India

How to Apply for 2010 Maharashtra Police Recruitments for Police Launches


1. Exam fees for Maharashtra Police Recruitments for Police Launches of Rs.150/- for Open category and Rs.75/- for backward category & Ex-Servicemen should be paid in the form of Indian Postal Order or DD in favour of The Special Inspector General of Police, Motor Transport, Maharashtra State, Pune – 411007, which must be attached along with the application. Name of post applied for should be written in bold at the center of the envelope.
