In 1987 when he started his career as a choreographer itself he got a chance to act in the movie "Agninatchatram" in a small role. He acted as a Hero in "Kadalan" for first time In 1994. Not only tamil film industry Telugu, kannada film industry also like to give chance to him. He did almost 15 films in 6 years from 1992.

He directed his first film in Telugu, named "Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana " in the year 2005. His second film is Pournamii in the year 2006 and third film is Pookiri in 2007.
