Biography of Tamil Female Lyricist Thamarai

Thamarai was a famous top Lyricist and poet in Tamil film industry. She was only a successful female Lyricist in Tamil film industry. She completed Mechanical Engineering and worked for 6 years in Coimbatore. Her hobbies is always writing something in her young age. Due to dislike of her work in welding and sound machinery, she resigned her job.

Career of Tamil Lyricist Thamarai

Thamarai resigned her job and move to Chennai. She worked as Journalist and also wrote essays, stories and poems. Her writing skills was very impressed by Director Seeman. He gave the first chance to Thamarai became the Lyricist for the film "Iniyavale". From that she involved in the work with Kollwood film industry. She was always interested to watch nature, women feelings and observe people reactions. It made her to write beautiful songs with good meaning.

Before entry of films, Thamarai struggled to ask a chance for the films. But now, Thamarai became the successful lyricist and her purest Tamil lines in every film was inspired. The second chance goes to Director Vikraman's film "Unnidathil ennai koduthen". In this film "Malligai poove" song made her toppest in kollywood industry.

Then Thamarai got many chance from the top most directors and Music directors. She worked with A.R.Rahman in the first film "Minnale" for the song "Vaseegara.." This song made her high level and turning point in her career life. "Vaseegara" song made every people sensitive and made Thamarai, the great fans for Tamil film industry. After 3 years she got training to create herself as Lyricist and involved in magazines.

Thamarai has written a song in pure tamil. She did not use to write vulgar and double meaning words in her romantic song for every her film. Thamarai became popularity with tamil songs.

Thamarai worked with Director Gautham Menon in every his film including Kaaka kaaka, Vettaiyady vilaiyadu, Pachaikili muthucharam, Varanam ayiram and Vinnai thandi varuvaya. Those films every songs very super hits in her film. Then she worked with many musicians and toppest directors. She has won several awards for the best lyricist. Her latest upcoming film is "Engeyum Kadhal" released in the year 2011.
