How to make Tamil Recipe Rava Dosai

Ingredients for making Tamil Recipe Rava Dosai

Idli batter: 1 cup
Roasted Rava: 1 cup
Maida: 2 tbsps(optional)
Onions: 2 (finely chopped)
Green chillies: 2
Curd: 1 cup
A sprig of curry leaves
Ginger: nicely chopped
Salt to taste
Mustard seeds: 1 tsp

Preparation of Tamil Recipe Rava Dosai

1. Mix idli batter with rava, maida, curd and salt. Add some water to get a good dosa batter consistency. Leave it for 4 hours.

2. Take oil in a kadai, splutter the mustard seeds, add onions and fry till transparrent then add ginger, chillies and curry leaves. Add this to the batter and mix well.

3. Keep the dosa tawa and spread the dosai. Pour oil on and around the dosai

Rava dosai is ready. Serve with coconut chutney and idly milagai podi.
