Eligibility criteria for Common Bank Exam 2011


AGE LIMIT
Minimum Age:20 Years
Maximum Age:30 Years for General Category Candidates.
Maximum Age:33 Years for OBC Candidates.
Maximum Age:35 Years for SC/ST,Ex-Servicemen Candidates.
Maximum Age:40 Years for Disabled Persons.

Educational Qualification
Any degree from a recognized University as on 01.07.2011.

Structure and details about Common Bank Exam


Name of Objective Tests.

1.Reasoning
2.English Language
3.Quantitative Aptitude
4.General Awareness(Banking Industry)
5.Computer Knowledge

Each section has 50 Questions. Totally 250 Questions for Five Sections.
Two and half hours for the above Test. And one Hour for Descriptive Paper.
Those who are secure Minimum qualifying marks in each of the objective tests will be evaluate The Descriptive Paper. Descriptive Paper has Question on English Composition such as Essay, Precis, Letter Writing etc.

Negative MarksEach and Every Wrong answers in the Objective Test has 0.25 Negative Mark.

Bank Exam Call Letter details


The date of exam was sent through the CALL LETTER along with the Examination Centre/Venue Address. The Candidates should download their Call Letter and Information Handout from the website www.ibps.in after 04.09.2011. Call Letter will not sent to the Candidates by Post.

Candidates should take their CALL LETTER, ORIGINAL FEE PAYMENT RECEIPT and their PHOTO IDENTITY PROOF in original and Xerox Copy of their PHOTO IDENTITY PROOF such as PAN Card/Passport/Driver's Licence/Voter's Card/Bank Passbook with photo etc to attending The Written Examination.

Application Fees


Application Fee: Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD Candidates.
Rs.450/- for All other Candidates.

Mode of Payment

There are two Mode of Payment of Fees.

1.Online Mode.
2.Offline Mode.
Online Mode
The fees can be paid using Master/Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking. After successful Completion of Payment of fees, an E-Receipt will be generated. Candidates are asked to take printout of the E-Receipt for further use.
Offline Mode
Candidates are asked to fill the NEFT Voucher using the following details.

IFSC Code : BKID0000051

Candidates should check the receipt is properly signed and NEFT UTR No, IFSC code of the sending Bank Branch, Name of the sending Bank, City name, Deposit date, Amount in the NEFT Payment Receipt.
