Brief history of independence day and independence day greetings or wishes in Tamil

In the beginning, India was divided into many independent states ruled by different kings. There was no unity found among the kings of many province. Taking this opportunity, East India company visited India for making business during the mid of 16th century. Slowly and slowly they expanded their business to nearby province. With their wealth and sophisticated weapon they conquered many province by defeating the king of that kingdom. It was none other than Sardar patel who raised voice to unite all different states under a united states of India. The British ill treated Indian people at all walks of life. Those who rise against British strictly punished even grant shot dead punishment. Ruling India for more than 3 centuries, British took away all of India's resources such as pepper, cardamom, cashew nut, fruit items, iron ore, gold etc.

Indian freedom fighters cannot face the canons of the British because of this in-numerous fighters were killed in many battle. A change came to the freedom struggle when Gandhi entered into the movement. He favor peace and non violence as a weapon for fighting against British. He believed that through violence we cannot attain our goal and sometime it may prove a irreparable loss to our country. So, he asked one and all Indian people to follow the path of truth and non-violence at all circumstances. Large number of people joined Mahatma Gandhi to oppose the ruling of British in India.

Finally, India got its freedom in the midnight of 15th August, 2011.
