An Introduction to Vodafone
Vodafone has been the best telecom industry only after the famous Airtel who has been leading our India market. In India Vodafone took over the Hutch services in India somewhere in the year 2008 or 2009. I can say that the Vodafone has been a best competitor for Airtel in the market and all the other Telecom Industries are not up to the mark but are giving a stiff competition in the Indian market. It has been better as it is provided at a very low cost and lot of bonus cards and recharge offers have facilitated the Vodafone services to a large extend.
Various rates of Sim card offered by Vodafone at Chennai
23 rupees – This is the Sim card that is been provided at a very cheap rate in the market and this has the following facilities, the most important facilities of this offer is lifelong validity, it also provides 13 rupees talk time as soon as the Sim is purchased, call rates of about 60 paisa per minute for customers calling from Vodafone to Vodafone. It also costs 60 paisa per minute for Vodafone to other companies.
24 rupees – This is the second offer which is just a rupee more than that of the previous plan which gives 14 rupees talk time where the card has facilities like Lifetime validity, call rates of about 1.2 paisa for Vodafone to Vodafone and 1.2 paisa per second for Vodafone to other customers.
64 rupees – This is offer which does not provide any talk time and is also offered with a validity period of 365 days i.e., a year. The call rates are 50 paisa per minute for Vodafone to Vodafone and 50 paisa per second for Vodafone to other customers.
65 rupees – though this is 1 rupee less more than the previous time I think that these are the best offer in the product if the user would not use the mobile for talking more. It is also valid for a time period of 365 days but the call rates are something like this; it does not give any talk time with the Sim, it costs 1 paisa per second for Vodafone to Vodafone and 1.2 paisa per second for Vodafone to other customers.
Though these are the valid charges charged for these Sim cards, these Sim cards are also provided by shopkeepers who tend to give the same Sim card for a low price say some 50 rupees for those last two offers. There are even many more marketers who are appointed by the Vodafone to sell those Sim cards at free of cost if all the documents are proper and this is available only for a day or two in front of some colleges where some competitions are held at the college.
