Quality of education provided in the schools of Tamilnadu - A brief review

This article is about the quality offered by various schools in Tamil Nadu. I have categorized the schools in two aspects i.e., Private and government schools that play a vital role apart from there are also various schools like Matriculation and CBSE schools. I have also provided the top 5 colleges in Chennai.

An Introduction to quality on education provided in Schools and its development

There are various schools that are operating the state of Tamil Nadu now a days. I think that the schools are developing at a rapid rate ans the schools aim for making good profits for the founder. It is a known fact that even the government schools have started charging more on the students and there are certain government schools in Chennai that ask for donation from the students.

I feel that the education system is going on decreasing the development of quality in education. I have seen in many schools that the teachers are not interested in taking class but sit and chat with other staffs during the class hours. Do you think it is the correct system to be followed in schools now a days.

Types of Schools in Chennai

State board schools

These are the schools that offer good education to the students and it was developed with the motive to provide education to students at no cost and also offered various benefits like free food egg etc., But as the days have passed the quality in education is degraded and it is going on degrading. These schools offer education with a lot of donation imparted on the students. There are lot of Disadvantages like these Schools are differentiated based on the caste system and language system. The Tamil students are given priority more than that of the English Medium students and for the Tamil medium students the fee structure is low when compared to English medium schools.

I hope that their should be no differentiation between the students based on caste, creed and Medium of study and all the students must be given equal education and this will help our country and state more rich in equality. I think that the rates of fee in Government schools should be slashed as student accumulate in these type of schools to get an exemption which is not available now. the quality of food should also be developed and the other benefits like free cycles, bus pass etc., should be provided as it is being done now.

Private Schools in Chennai

There are other type of schools other than government schools that charge more on the students for the same education given for the students. These schools provide good infrastructural facilities to the students and the modern equipments are available to the students. I think that though these schools charge more fee from the public the education provided here are reasonable to the payment made.

Matriculation Schools

These are just like the private schools and they also charge huge money for the children's education. I think that these provide the education which is completely different that are superior to the state board syllabus. These schools often provide facilities like canteen and transportation to their students. There are teaching methods created as that of the government schools but facilities other than education would be advanced. They are merely like Private schools.

Kendriya Vidhyalaya

These are the schools that provide education to their students in an advanced manner and in a advanced mode of education. There are technical methods like powerpoint presentation, Projectors used in such a type of educational institutions and as these schools are run by central government they offer better services at a very low price as compared to the other methods. But the student cannot score more marks here as the quality of education is more superior than any other method.

The Top Five Schools in Chennai

1. Don Bosco School
2. St. John's international
3. Dav school (CBSE mode of education)
4. SBOA Anna nagar
5. Velammal school

It is up to the parents to select the school for the students, if they think they have good grasping power and are good in understanding concepts and techniques they can join their children's in the Kendriya Vidhyalaya, But if the parent has enough money so as to join their students for the sake that they can improve they can go for Private sector students and if the Parents are not too rich and are dependent on a particular members salary then they can go for public or government schools that provide studies at a lower rate.
