I would say that Chennai has one of the most amazing transport systems in the state and is well known for the various numbers of buses to almost every part of the city. I can say that there are buses that connect to almost all the parts of the state. There are a number of buses to various places of the state from Chennai and the koyambedu bus terminal is the biggest bus terminal in Chennai that was laid by the former chief minister M Karunanidhi and was opened by present Chief minister Jayalalitha in the year 2001. It has two terminals side by side where one of the terminals connects to the buses that go to local bus depots at various parts of Chennai and the other connects to the various places or districts of Tamil Nadu like Madurai, Tirchy, Salem, etc., I would say that it is one of the most important bus terminals in the nation that provides transportation facilities to most of the people in Chennai. I would say that more than the bus transport people prefer the train transport and there is a huge population travelling through the train which includes almost all the kind of people like office employees, daily laborers and students. The railways are doing well here in Chennai as it is successful than any other station in Chennai. Most of the stations also have a separate office for the police and the people who are misbehaving are taken to the courts directly from here.
