Bharathiar University Coimbatore State Eligibility Test (SET) is an examination conducted for Lectureship by Bharathiar University for selecting the candidates for the lecturer post in various colleges in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. 1. The candidates are selected based on the written test and an interview conducted by Bharathiar University. The candidates has to take up three papers.
2. In the first paper the candidates need to answer for 50 questions out of the 60 questions. Each correct answer will be awarded two marks.
3. The second paper consists of fifty questions. The marks awarded for the exam is 100.
4. The question format for the above two will be objective type with multiple choice questions and the timings is one and a half hours..
5. The third paper consists of 200 questions and the duration for the exam is two and a half hours. • Final year post graduate candidates can also apply.
