Private Students apply for S.S.L.C., Metric Exam – April - 2012
The Tamil Nadu Exam Committee member mr. Ramachandiran has released a notification that all the SSLC private student who are planning to apply for the SSLC, Matric, Anglo-Indian and OSSC exams in April -2012 can apply from 21.12.2011. The applications are invited from the interested student before 02.01.2012. The last date for applying for private S.S.L.C, Matric, Anglo-Indian and O.S.S.C exams would be 02 January 2012.Public Exam for the SSLC, Matric, Anglo-Indian and OSSC Private Students
Applications are invited from the interested candidates who are willing to write S.S.L.C, Matric, Anglo-Indian and O.S.S.C exams. The S.S.L.C, Matric, Anglo-Indian and O.S.S.C boards were combined together by the Tamil nadu government and made a single syllabus for all the students in Tamil Nadu. The new syllabus is called as the Samacheer Kalvi. For the first time in this new syllabus the exams are going to be conducted in April 2012.
No students will be asked to write the April 2012 exam in their old syllabus. All the students (regular & private students) should write their exam under the new syllabus called Samacheer Kalvi. According to this Samacheer Kalvi syllabus all the students who are appearing for the S.S.L.C exam should attend the practical exam for the Science subject. All the private students also must attend the Science practical exam and pass for appearing for the final exam in April 2012. The Science practical exam for the private students will be organized by the Chief Education Officer of every district. The students have to register their name in the office for attending their Science Practical Exam. Qualification for applying for SSLC Metric Exam in April 2012
• Age - 14.5 years (as on 01.04.2012)
• Completed 8th Standard with English subject, in any one of the State/Central government approved board.
• Those who have passed the 8th standard exam conducted by the Exam committee.
• Those who have received 8th standard Transfer Certificate from any one of the approved Residential schools.
• Those who have got 'C' level certificate by the Open University.
• Those who have 8th standard Transfer Certificate in any of the approved school Practical Exam for for SSLC Metric Exam in April 2012
Those students who have appeared previously for S.S.L.C, Matric, Anglo-Indian and O.S.S.C exams and failed in all the subjects also can apply for the S.S.L.C exam in April 2012 under the new syllabus of Samacheer Kalvi. Also they should attend the Science Practical exam. Practical exam is must for all the students to appear for the public exam in April 2012. The students should get a minimum of 15 marks from 25 marks to get passed for the practical exam. The practical exam will be conducted by the CEO of every district. The private students should register their name in the CEO office and attend the training and meet the Science practical exam on the appointed centers. The exam time table will be issued to the private students from the training centers of every districts. Old Syllabus Exam for SSLC, Matric, Anglo-Indian and OSSC
The students who have appeared in the previous year exams under the S.S.L.C, Matric, Anglo-Indian and O.S.S.C syllabus will be given two chances for getting passed in their old syllabus. These students can write failed subjects in the old syllabus for the April 2012 exam. And those students who fail in April 2012 exam can write the immediate exam in June 2012. The old students will be given only two chances to get passed in their old syllabus. From April 2013 all the exam will be conducted only in the new syllabus Samacheer Kalvi. The applications for SSLC, Matric, Anglo-Indian and OSSC are issued from 21.12.2011. The applications are available in Cuddalore, Villupuram, Pondicherry, Karaikal, and all the CEO offices of Dhindivanam, Villupuram, Viruthachalam and Cuddalore. The student should pay Rs. 125.
