Cricket is one of the important games which have got rich set of audience and fans for different country players involved in the game. Cricket is generally played between 2 teams generally with 11 members in each teams with a substitute in case of injury. The players involved in the game are termed by their role as Batsman, Bowler, Wicket keeper, Fielders. The origin of cricket according to past history is debatable and some where lies in the dark side several researches says that the game was basically derived from a very old pass time activity. According to the above facts they say that there were 2 players in which one player used to throw an object in any form a ball or a wood and the player at the other end should focus the object and hit it. Later this game got its shape and several modifications and rules were made into it by assigning a set of team members to play the game and now being termed by the name as cricket. Later after few years the above game was shaped with a rework and got it establishment in many parts of the country and as time passed the game became one of the best game for their leisure time activity and have been accepted widely from various organization . Currently the game is much popular enough all over the world not only among the young people's but to various groups of peoples as audiences.
There are different types of matches like Test Matches,One Day International, 20/20 International and the game is maintained by the different council like International Cricket Council (ICC),Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in which they hold a laws for cricket. Accordingly the laws of cricket are a set of rules which is being established by the respective council and clubs to follow uniformity and fairness towards the laws of cricket worldwide. Currently there are 42 laws with some sample laws like how the game is played, how the team wins the game, how the pitches for the game are to be prepared and maintained and many more into this category. The game cricket is globally governed by ICC where as MCC is a private club which has got the copy rights towards changes in law for the game with formal discussion with ICC. ICC is an international governing body of cricket which has 105 members and it is responsible for organizing and governing the major international cricket tournament like world cup.

Cricket is one of the most popular sports which is being played and watched by billions of people worldwide. IPL is termed as Indian Premier League and it is a league for twenty-twenty cricket competition in India. Nowadays IPL has grown faster and has set of worldwide audience as fans for various players played at different stadium. IPL was initiated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) with its head quarters at Mumbai. IPL currently consists of 9 teams with players from around the world in different teams. Rules for selecting players in a team at the IPL auction 2012
The Cricket Board of Council has 5 ways of rule for franchise to acquire their required players. The players only with their agreement and approval are being allowed for trading them at the auctions. The franchises involved in trading have to pay the difference between old and new contract price. In few cases if there is a huge difference between old and new contract prices then the difference amount are being shared between the players and franchise selling the player. Latest news about 5th IPL auction 2012
The 5th IPL auction was held last week Feb 2012 at Bangalore and several players from different countries were put up into the auction. Among the list of players involved in the auction all rounder Ravindra Jadeja went into the auction for the highest rate of about Rs 9.72 crores and he was purchased by Chennai Super Kings. To make a note here two teams Chennai super kings and Deccan chargers were ready to afford the above amount and were competing over each other for the player and due to this a tie breaker occurred and finally Jadeja was purchased by Chennai Super Kings.
A total of 8 Indian players along with 144 players were put up in the auction but among the listed players only 25 players from different countries were bought up by the franchise. As Pune warriors this time got out of IPL a total of 8 teams only participated in the respective auction. Moreover as one of the oldest Indian players V.V.S. Laxman was not bought by any teams involved in the auction and so he was out of chance to play in forthcoming IPL match. Current Sri Lankan captain Mahela Jayawardene was purchased for Rs 6.80 crores by Delhi Dare Devils and Sunil Narein was luckily purchased for Rs 3.40 crores by Kolkata Knight Riders comparatively to the other leading players. Young fast bowler Vinay kumar was bought for Rs 4. 86 crores by Bangalore Royal Challengers and this time Pakistan all rounder Asar Mohammed was bought for Rs 97.20 lakhs by Kings XI Punjab team and he is the only player from Pakistan to participate in this IPL season.
