In forthcoming three years, supremacy of state Tamilnadu is attempting to enforce 3000MW of solar energy in order to become a Power Surplus State. Natham Viswanath, in a press conference said that they are thinking to use policy of solar energy in order to become power surplus state. He said that in state Tamilnadu, they are going to perform the policy of solar energy quickly and they are thinking to bring it out in the forthcoming work out season which is coordinate by Tamilnadu Energy Development Agency (TEDA).
In Tamilnadu, the supremacy is thinking to enforce three lakh solar power houses along with one lakh solar-powered street lights.
In a press conference, Natham said that they has set a target to generate 3000MW of solar power till next three years.
In these days, Tamilnadu is fighting with the problem of power shortage and are thinking to solve this problem quickly.
Viswanath said, the problem of electricity is increasing day by day because of lack of power. Natham Viswanath said, they has target to provide that much of power which is demanded by 2015-2016.
He welcomed a lot of companies to come and invest in the generation of solar energy as half of the total energy is generated by state Tamilnadu for whole of the country, India.
TANGEDCO (Tamilnadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Ltd., Chairman Rajeev Ranjan said that they are trying to financially make it possible for TANGEDCO.He said that they are facing some financial problems and are trying to financially reconstruct and they have submitted this problem to the government of India.He said, we expect a solution to solve that problem and are expecting a new tariff policy.
