Railway Recruitment Board invites applications from all eligible candidates to attend the RRB 2012 common preliminary examination to fill up a total of 6829 vacancies in various posts such as Non-Technical popular categories (Graduate), Assistant Station Master & Traffic Assistants posts.

• Commercial Apprentice (317 posts) Pay band- Rs. 9300-34800 + GP Rs. 4200
• Traffic Apprentice (740 posts) Pay band- Rs. 9300-34800 + GP Rs. 4200
• ECRC (114 posts) Pay band- Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2800
• Goods Guard (1768 posts) Pay band- Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2800
• Jr. Accounts Assistant cum Typist (791 posts) Pay band- Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2800
• Sr. Clerk cum Typist (441 posts) Pay band- Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2800
• Assistant Station Master (2646 posts) Pay band- Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2800
• Traffics Assistant (12 posts) Pay band- Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2000

Eligibility criteria for RRB 2012 vacancies


• The candidates must have completed degree from any recognized University.
• The applicant must be between 18 and 33 years as on 1.07.2012

• Selection is based on the candidates performance in the common preliminary exam.
