Healthy & Simple Recipe to Cook with Curry Leaves

Curry leaves – 10-15 numbers
Red gram( tuvaram parupu)- 2 spoons
Black pepper – 1 spoon
Garlic – 5 numbers
Onion – 1 (small size chopped)
Mustard as required
Cumin seeds – 1 spoon
Oil as required
Salt to taste
Garlic – 5 numbers
Tamarind - size of small pebble
Turmeric powder – ½ spoon
Mirchi powder – 2 spoons
Water as required


1. In a frying pan, add 2 spoons of oil and add black pepper,cumin seeds,red gram and curry leaves. Fry these till there is light change in colour.Transfer these to plate allow it to dry.
2. After it gets dried,grind it well in mixer to be a powder.Then add some water to it and grind well so that it becomes like a paste.
3. Take a bowl, add 2 glass of water, then add tamarind,turmeric powder,mirchi powder and little amount of salt.
4. Allow the above to soak well, so that tamarind mixes with water .
5. Next add grinded paste to the bowl and mix it well.
6. Now, keep a vessel ,add little oil .Then add mustard,chopped onions and finally add the mixture in the bowl . Keep the flame in sim and allow it to boil ,so that it comes to thick consistency. Add salt as required to ones taste.
The dish is ready to serve with rice…
