• The candidates must have passed in HSC with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects for B.E/B.Tech degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Scores obtained in IIT JEE (Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination) or TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) are considered for admission.
• For PG courses the candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks in UG.
• Admissions are made on the basis of TANCET and GATE score.
• For Ph.D a minimum of 55% marks in PG. Selection is based on the written test and interview conducted at Anna University . Those who have scored well in NET/SLET are exempted from attending the written test.
