The Citizen’s Park is one of the best additions to the list of new parks being developed in Kolkata City. Here is just a short description of this wonderful park.
The Citizen's Park Kolkata was inaugurated on 8th May 2005 by the then Union Minister of India, MrPranab Mukherjee. It is a praiseworthy effort of Kolkata Municipal Corporation to beautify the landscape of Kolkata and turn its open lands into some recreational facilities for the public.

It has a dancing Fountain, which is operated every evening at the time of dusk for the amusement of the visitors.
People from all age groups come her during morning and evening for jogging, morning and evening walks. Some also plan small trips here.
It has an open-air gallery, some military hardware, fighter, bomber aircraft, canons, armed vehicles and tanks.
