History of Hindi Language

This is about the history we have about Hindi language.Something that any one in India should know about. Here we do have information about how the language got derived and how it is used in the modern life.

The Hindi that we right now use in the modern world is also called as Manak Hindi or the Nagari Hindi. It is actually a sanskritised version of Hindi.

It got developed from Western UttarPradesh.Hindi was accepted as the official language of the Federal Government of India in 1950. The different states like
Madhya Pradesh, Uttar pradhesh, Himachal Pradhesh, Uttarkhand, Bihar, Haryana etc use this language as their official language. Standardisation was given to
Hindi language in its grammar, orthography and vocabulary. This almost happened in the year 1954.

The real origin occured during the Mughal Empire. And it got seperated from the Urdu language having great connection with it.The name Hindustani came from the name Hindustan, the Persian name for subcontinent actually.

Four prominent styles are there in Hindi language. They are Bhakthi, Shringar, Veer-Gatha, Adhunik. Adhunik one is followed now which got started from 1900s.

The non-sanskritised form is the one used normally in Hindi Cinemas and also in the day to day life speech. The rural form of the dialect may vary from one place to next.

Now Hindi is used so popularly among all the states all over the country, that it has become more in use than English in India. Thus the language is having its own privilege of getting in touch with the modern life.

Hindi is the basic language even in Education field and almost every states do follow the language for its complete study materials. Its of great significance. It is a compulsory language in other states were it is not followed completely for the students to learn the language atleast.
