Image Creation gimmicks of Bollywood
Bollywood uses its famous tactics of creating an image of a particular Actor/Actress in order to promote the production house, as well as in order to market the Actor/Actress. There are countless instances of an Actor/Actress being magnified, or rather to put it in simple terms, hyped, that the value of a particular production house and its workforce is magnified.
The Mumbai film industry has been using the famous tactic of promoting a particular Actor/Actress or the relevant Production house by creating a false image or a gimmick which makes the public believe that the brand value of the Production house is manifested and this thus creates more amount of support and coverage from its viewers. This act is also used as a medium of advertising in order to make the particular name of the Actor/Actress, Film, or the Production house known to the common public.
The act of creating this superficial image acts as a cover for the particular Actor/Actress talents and makes the public forget the level of talent the particular Actor/Actress really has in his daily work.
Maybe this may be a blessing to the newcomers in the Acting and the Film Industry who need to be given a slight push of their name as well as their unknown talent to the public.
Nevertheless,as the phrase goes, "The best way to get your own future is to build it up brick by brick by your own efforts and hard work. This includes the fact that newcomers should polish and refine their God given talent in order to make it known to the common public without the use of these pointless image building gimmicks.
Maybe this may sound a bit weird, but the fact is that no true artiste can survive in the long run in the industry without intimidating the onlooker as well as the audience with their respective talent which has been developed by continued practice and hard work.
