Other than this, incharge of vaccination centers, health centers, Citizens' Service Bureau and Maa-Bachcha kalyaan kender are also appointed as sub-registrar.

You must go for registration within 21 days of birth or death in your family. After 21 days, you will be charges a nominal fee for registration up to 30 days. After 30 days, extra fees and an affidavit is required for birth or death registration. You get the birth certificate or death certificate (as the case may be) within 7 days of registration.

All hospitals, homes and other similar institutes provide information of birth or death to their Corporation / Municipality through internet. For this purpose, they have to take a user name and password on website of concerned department for online registration. In case of death certificate, cemetery of Delhi informs their zonal office about this. Thus you can take a death certificate from zonal office after showing a slip or receipt of cemetery. To take online birth certificate or death certificate from MCD, layman can apply online with his user name and password received after registration. Fees can be paid via debit card or credit card.

are there any helpline numbers?if so please post them.Also some zonewise information would be of help,like the location of birth and death registration offices in speciific areas,say where for GK or for Dwarka etc
