The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council has declared the dates for the Higher secondary examinations. The detailed time table can be found below-

Note:

Modern Indian Languages: Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Garo, Hindi, Khasi, Manipuri, Mizo, Hmar, Nepali and Urdu

Advanced languages: Advanced Assamese, Advanced Bengali, Advanced Bodo, Advanced Manipuri, and Advanced Hindi

Practical exams will commence from 26th March 2012

Papers on Modern Indian Language subjects / Alternative English / English of this stream are same as those of Modern Indian Language / Alternative English / English of the HS Final Examination for all streams.

Candidates under this stream may offer either Modern Indian Language subject / Alternative English or English. However, a candidate may offer both, MIL subject / Alternative English and English. In such a case, the marks secured by the candidate in one of the language subjects (the one with more marks) will be taken into consideration.
