The Official Mascot of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 is chosen as STUMPY, an Elephant.This was selected by Cricket fans around the world by online selection process.This was unveiled on 2nd April,2010 in Colombo,Shri Lanka by Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni,Kumar Sangakara at function arranged by ICC.The official name is released in 2nd August,2010.
STUMPY is a very young ten year old enthusiastic and determined elephant.He thinks that the Cricket is the best game in the World.He loves to play Street Cricket and would play 24X 7,if he could.He dreams of playing in the World cup in his life.He want to achieve the techniques and skills with hard work.He worships all Cricket Heroes,their techniques,skill and character.He is learning to Master the art of Concentration.
