This is what we know, that Gas Cylinder is attached with the rounded handle by the three flat iron rods. The information about the guarantee period will be written in any one of the three iron rods.
Kindly note this, an alphabet with two numbers like "A-12" should be mentioned in the cylinder. Any one of the following four alphabets like A, B, C or D will denote the months and the two numbers mentioned along with the alphabet, denotes the year in which the gas was filled in the cylinder. Here is the information about the classification of months for the alphabets mentioned in the cylinder
1. A - From January to March
2. B - From April to June
3. C - From July to September
4. D - From October to DecemberFor example, if it was given like "A-12", then the guarantee period of that cylinder ends in "March 2012".
So before you start using a new cylinder, check for the guarantee sign in the cylinder. If you found it to be expired, please return it and buy a guaranteed cylinder. It is your responsibility to take care of it.
