Recipe- How To Make Sweet Dosa With Jaggery


This recipe is also called as Sweet Dosa. This is little different from our regular dosas because we are using Jaggery in place of sugar to make our dosas sweet. Jaggery is very rich in Vitamins,Calcium, Iron & Minerals. This recipe is one of the tastiest & healthy item for Breakfast and also as the snacks in the evening.

Ingredients

1.Coconut powder- 1cup (Wet powder)
2.Jaggery- 250gm (Depending on your taste can be decreased or increased)
3.Wheat flour- 1 cup
4.Rice flour- 1cup
5.Ghee -for frying dosas

Preparation Method

This recipe takes 20-30mins.

First soak the jaggery in the bowl of water till it gets melted totally.

Secondly take a bowl and start adding all the ingredients need to make the batter. Add wheat flour , rice flour, wet coconut powder together and mix it. Than add the jaggery water to the mixed powder and mix together to make it a nice soft batter as we make for our regular dosas. Keep this batter aside for 10 minutes to allow all the times get soaked in the jaggery water.

Finally heat the pan and don't forget to grease the pan with a table spoon of ghee before putting the batter on it. Start spreading the batter as we do for the regular dosas and server hot-hot to your family members.
